Who is Redeemed?
Hi there, I'm Carrie. For over 10 years, I have been making my own skin and body care products. There are very few things that I buy rather than make myself. It's a skill I have honed over time, and I have considered a small business for awhile, but in the season of having young children, the timing didn't seem right.
But, my son, Jacob, has shown a lot of interest in entrepreneurship, and as I had the opportunity earlier in life to witness the start of a small business and all that it involved, I've decided to let him learn along with me in this endeavor. He is my first employee and my greatest source of encouragement.
Our promise to you is that we will strive to create quality products that deliver on effectiveness as well as health benefits. We believe that God has given us everything we need for life and godliness - this includes our health! He has already provided everything we need to be healthy. Unfortunately, in today's culture, we have really lost touch with how God-given plants and remedies work and in which applications to use them, so we have to do a bit of research and detective work to get back to an understanding of how God's creation works together for our good and His glory. That is our goal at Redeemed Skincare - to blend completely natural ingredients together to compliment our physical needs.
Our Hope + Mission
Each recipe is uniquely crafted to serve a specific purpose, all with the intention of increasing the health of your skin and body. We absorb so much through our largest organ - it's important to us that what is taken in is actually good for us. This is, in part, where the name "Redeemed" came from: we aim to recover the skincare industry from being a toxic burden, to make amends for the damage that has been done in the past, and to deliver a new, healthier alternative.
And lastly, of course, the other part of the name "Redeemed" comes from the knowledge that I have been redeemed through Christ, my Savior. And as 2 Peter 1:3 says, "His divine power has granted us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us to His own glory and excellence." All things means ALL things, including all that we need to be healthy and thriving here on earth, and that, I believe, even applies to skincare.
